Water hardness in one page
Very hard water dulls tea and leaves a film on the cup. A simple jug filter is usually enough; distilled water goes too far the other way.
Timeouts and budgets for a tea session
Give each infusion a fixed budget and pour off on time, even mid-conversation. A forgotten pot is the usual reason a good leaf tastes flat.
